Christmas Farm Inn & Spa ~ Jackson, New Hampshire ~ Gluten Free Restaurant Review

We had the most amazing night at the Christmas Farm Inn & Spa last Thursday! There are tons of accommodation options there (I'll let you google them if you want to know more) but we ended up staying in the carriage house which included a two person jacuzzi tub, fireplace, living room/wine bar and beautiful views of Mount Washington. Our initial plan was to stay there but venture into North Conway for dinner but the charm of this place changed our minds quickly. We called the front desk to make reservations for 8pm (as they had recommended when we checked in) and explored the property and pool (ok....ok.....and had a few glasses of wine while taking in the view).

When we arrived at the restaurant, I notified our waiter that I was gluten free and asked if there were any options, aside from salad lol. He was extremely knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and the importance of no cross-contamination and also knew which items on the menu were made gluten free and which could be modified. After lots of debating (there was so much that looked good on the menu!) Adam and I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna for an appetizer and OH. MY. GOD was it amazing! Cooked to perfection, ZERO fishy taste and the sauce was to die for! For our main courses, I ordered the tenderloin steak tips and he ordered the New York strip. Mine was cooked absolutely perfect, Adam's was a little underdone but they were happy to throw it back on the grill for a few extra minutes. The atmosphere had a farmhouse, simple elegance and, honestly, I barely even noticed anyone else around us! Thank you for a truly memorable stay and dinner, Christmas Farm Inn & Spa! This might just have to become a yearly tradition!
