It's hard for me to imagine that there's anyone who doesn't love Mainely Wraps! If you've ever been there around lunch time (and didn't call your order in), you've surely had to wait in a line almost reaching the door! They are always well staffed and even when packed, they get orders out fairly quickly! Their menu consists of wraps, panini's, salads, homemade soups and freshly made fries or sweet potato fries. They also have a small bakery section with cookies, pastries and/or pies. The employees are quite knowledgeable about celiac disease, gluten intolerance/sensitivity and always use new gloves and designated utensils for gluten free orders. My personal favorites are the Surfsider (tuna wrap) and the Cape Neddick (salad with chicken, eggs, avocado, bacon, tomatoes, blue cheese and marinated red onions). Salads come with a scrumptious cheddar biscuit but unfortunately it's not gluten free :( They always offer an alternative though, chips or an apple, and hopefully......after me begging the owner on a number of occasions..... someday they'll make gf cheddar biscuits (#Iainttoproudtobeg).
